Grape Stomper

Grape Stomper, also marketed as Sour Grapes, was developed by Gage Green Seeds through crossing three distinct genetics: JojoRizo's Purple Elephant (now deceased breeder), a Purple Urkel Hashplant variety, and Elite Seeds' Chemdog Sour Diesel—though this third parent is sometimes attributed to a Headband x Sour Diesel cross instead, with no actual Chemdawg genetics present. This strain is recognized for its exceptional production levels and pronounced grape characteristics, delivering potency that stands out among other grape-forward cultivars. The original cut was acquired by an associate of Gage Green and subsequently transferred to a California dispensary collective called Blue Sky. That collective engaged in the common practice of renaming the strain to Sour Grapes, thereby attempting to obscure the breeder's legitimate contribution. Despite this rebranding effort, the strain's true lineage and creation story remain documented and acknowledged in the cannabis community.
