About Miss Colombia
This strain represents a fusion of Colombian sativa heritage with modern breeding techniques. The Colombian landrace parent comes from deep within the country's natural growing regions, carrying genetics that defined cannabis culture during the 1960s and 70s with its characteristic energetic effects and distinctive flavor profile. This particular lineage has significantly influenced contemporary cannabis breeding.
The breeding strategy focused on combining the strengths of carefully cultivated indoor genetics with the resilience of traditional landraces. By crossing Cindy La Pew—a robust indoor cultivar known for impressive potency and visual appeal—with Colombian Black, the resulting hybrids showcase the best qualities of both ancestry lines. This plant exhibits vigorous growth characteristics and reaches substantial sizes.
The hybrid demonstrates markedly improved tolerance to common cultivation challenges including mold, pest pressure, and water stress. Testing confirmed that all phenotypes displayed enhanced resistance to mold and spider mites. Plan for a completion period of 9 to 13 weeks, though phenotypic variation will occur throughout the crop. Bud structure differs among phenotypes, ranging from tightly formed flowers to those displaying extended calyx development. The aromatic profile varies across the phenotype range, presenting combinations of tropical notes like pineapple and melon, alongside skunk and diesel undertones, complemented by spice characteristics including pepper and cinnamon.
