- Email address — when you subscribe to receive strain recommendations or our newsletter via the email gate on our Strain Finder.
- Strain submission data — if you use our strain submission form, you may provide strain names, descriptions, breeder details, and your name or contact information.
2.2 Data Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, the following data may be collected automatically:
- IP address and approximate geographic location (country/region level)
- Browser type and version, operating system, and device type
- Pages visited, time spent on pages, referral source, and navigation behaviour
- Cloudflare Turnstile signals — our AI Strain Finder is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which collects limited browser-level signals to verify you are a human. Cloudflare processes this data under their own privacy policy.

4. Email Marketing (Brevo)
If you subscribe to our newsletter or strain recommendations, your email address is stored and processed by Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), an EU-based email marketing provider headquartered in Paris, France. Brevo is GDPR-compliant and processes data under a Data Processing Agreement with us.
- You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
- We use a double opt-in process: after entering your email, you will receive a confirmation email. Your subscription is only activated after you confirm.
- We do not sell or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 collects anonymised usage data including pages visited, session duration, device type, and general location.
- Data is processed by Google LLC, which participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
- We have enabled IP anonymisation in GA4.

6. Affiliate Links & Third-Party Websites
Our website contains links to third-party seed banks and retailers (including ILGM, Seedsman, Sensi Seeds, Fast Buds, Royal Queen Seeds, Dutch Passion, and Herbies Seeds). When you click an affiliate link:
- You leave our website and enter a third-party site.
- The third party's own privacy policy applies from that point.
- We may receive a commission if you make a purchase — this does not affect the price you pay.
- We do not receive or store any personal data from these third-party transactions.
7. CDN (Bunny CDN)
Images and static assets on our website are served via Bunny CDN (cdn.cannabisgrower.ai). Bunny CDN may process your IP address for the purpose of serving content efficiently. Bunny CDN is a European provider headquartered in Slovenia and complies with GDPR.
