Resin Seeds was established in Spain during 2008 by co-founders Jaime and Juanma, with Jaime serving as the head breeder. Motivated by his background in the cannabis industry, Jaime launched the seedbank with a focus on exploring cannabis's therapeutic applications. The company pioneered one of Spain's early retail grow shops, based in Barcelona. The breeder has earned numerous international accolades, including a High Times Amsterdam Cannabis Cup victory in 2008 for a low-psychoactivity Sativa variety, followed by another High Times Amsterdam Cannabis Cup win in 2013. Their high-THC cultivars have gained widespread recognition and collected prestigious awards across diverse regions including Chile, the United States, and the Balearic Islands. Today, Resin Seeds' genetics are cultivated globally in unexpected locations ranging from Gambia and Slovenia to Cambodia and New Zealand, reflecting the worldwide appeal and adaptability of their breeding work.
