Caucasian Seeds

Beginning in late 2017, an independent breeding collective established themselves high within the Caucasus mountain range with an ambitious objective: to locate and preserve the most renowned native cannabis varieties throughout Georgia. During their three-year expedition across the dramatic landscapes of the Caucasia region—home to Europe's most imposing peaks—the team secured substantial yields of potent Sativa and Indica specimens. In collaboration with respected cultivation facilities in the Netherlands, they initiated an extensive breeding program focused on stabilizing, refining, and optimizing these traditional Georgian landrace genetics. Through careful selection across multiple generations, they isolated the most desirable characteristics and crossed them with renowned international cultivars including Gorilla Glue, Amnesia Haze, and LSD. This work culminated in the development of 13 distinct new varieties, each bearing the name of a figure from Caucasian mythology: Medea, Amirani, OchoPintre, Bochi, PirKush, Aieti, and Dali. These creations feature distinctive flavor and aroma profiles paired with notable effects, crafted to appeal to diverse consumer preferences.
