About Thai Fantasy
# Kannabia Thai Fantasy
This strain earned its name from its distinctly tropical character, drawing genetics from distant origins. A blend of Maple Leaf indica and Citrus parentage, Thai Fantasy delivers a remarkable range of flavors and aromas. Despite exhibiting a sativa-like physical structure, the plant displays notably indica-influenced growth patterns. Indoor cultivation typically requires eight to nine weeks until harvest, while outdoor growers can expect readiness by late September. Starting around week five or six of the flowering phase, the plant produces thick, compact, densely-packed primary colas. This variety demonstrates excellent structural integrity and proven resistance to common pests and fungal diseases. Its Caribbean, Afghan, and Indian heritage creates a genetically stable cultivar that thrives outdoors, forming substantial buds with fine foliage at upper canopy levels and broader leaves lower down—all generously coated in resinous crystals. Flowering initiates with vigorous development, eventually becoming so proliferate with trichomes that the buds appear dusted with crystalline powder. Early flowering stages release a powerful fragrance combining coffee and pine notes. The high transitions from stimulating onset to profound final stages, showcasing the balanced interplay between sativa and indica effects. Success requires generous feeding from early growth through completion, especially during flowering to achieve proper bud density and prevent underdeveloped structure. Strategic trimming and SCROG methods maximize yields substantially. Five-litre containers allow optimal expression without demanding excessive vertical space, producing substantial central buds. Maximum light exposure proves essential; outdoor growing is preferred, though indoor cultivators should position lights close during flowering. Gradually increase nutrient concentration from 1.2 to 2.2 EC weekly throughout flowering. Adding carbohydrates or molasses enhances flavor development. This strain offers surprising cultivation ease combined with impressive harvests.
