Positronic Mayday Express is a hybrid cultivar developed by crossing the swift, space-efficient Misty strain from the 1980s with selected Low Ryder #2 females. This variety produces dense, diminutive plants with an appearance reminiscent of miniature evergreens, featuring closely-spaced nodes and small foliage that maintains robust coloration with minimal intervention. Height typically remains below one meter, though this varies based on planting date and container volume, making it well-suited for discreet indoor cultivation. The aroma profile presents subtle acidic characteristics with prominent lemon and fruit undertones, becoming more pronounced in organic growing systems. Consumption delivers lemon and cinnamon flavor notes with a gentle, lingering taste experience. Effects are mild and uplifting, ideal for novice users or daytime consumption alongside other pursuits. Indoor cultivation performs optimally under 18-20 hours of daily illumination in containers exceeding 7 liters; larger pots enhance final yields. Harvest occurs within 65-70 days from seed, demonstrating exceptionally rapid development. Outdoor growing succeeds best when planted in May—the origin of the strain's name—with maturity achieved approximately two months after germination.
