About Gelato 41 BX
Gelato #41 is a back-crossed indica-dominant hybrid that stands out for its straightforward growing requirements and impressive harvests, thriving across diverse climates from moderate to arid conditions. Both beginning growers and seasoned cultivators appreciate this strain's appeal.
Created by celebrated California breeder Sherbinski, this variety—also marketed as Bacio Gelato—combines genetics from Sunset Sherbert and Thin Mint Cookies. The strain has earned recognition through competition, securing first place in the Indica division at the inaugural licensed High Times California Cannabis Cup held in the Central Valley.
Gelato 41 BX develops with considerable vigor, frequently surpassing 200cm when grown outdoors in soil-based setups. Plants cultivated in outdoor or greenhouse conditions can produce up to 750 grams each. In northern regions, mature buds are typically ready by late September or mid-October, whereas growers in the southern hemisphere should plan for harvests around March. Indoor cultivation yields between 450 to 600 grams per square meter across an 8 to 10-week bloom cycle. The strain demonstrates exceptional resistance to fungal issues, making it particularly suited for newcomers seeking a rewarding growing experience.
