About Buddhas Sister
Originally marketed as Soma Skunk V+, this cultivar received a rebranding as Buddha's Sister to better reflect its characteristics and expand its appeal among Amsterdam's coffeeshop retailers. The name change proved remarkably effective—demand surged immediately following the rename, and it has maintained its position as a consistent top seller at De Dampkring. A close relative to Siddhartha, this strain displays considerable vertical growth with substantial spacing between internodes. The genetic cross incorporating Afghani Hawaiian genetics resulted in notably improved production volumes while sacrificing some of the sweeter aromatic qualities found in its sibling strain, Reclining Buddha. Expect a distinctive tart cherry candy flavor profile accompanied by a similarly sharp, fruit-forward aroma rather than sweetness. The resinous buds display a characteristic smooth, glossy texture indicative of substantial trichome coverage, making them excellent candidates for hash production. Manual trimming generates abundant finger hash worthy of preservation. Like all Soma genetics, this variety offers therapeutic-grade cannabinoid profiles suitable for various medical applications. The psychoactive experience combines intensity with enhanced creativity and mental clarity. As a predominantly indica-dominant hybrid, this plant naturally develops extensive lateral branching, making it better suited for multi-branch training rather than high-density canopy approaches, though it can adapt to sea of green cultivation with proper management. Both hydroponic systems and Soma's organic soil growing protocols yield excellent outcomes. The characteristically airy bud structure provides natural fungal resistance while maintaining solid harvest weights.
