This strain displays a dense, heavily-branched morphology with particularly sturdy lateral growth. Characterized by its quick maturation cycle and strong indica-dominant effects, Black Sugar demonstrates impressive versatility across growing environments. Both indoor and outdoor cultivation yield excellent results thanks to the strain's flexible genetics. In outdoor settings across the northern hemisphere, gardeners can expect mature plants between 250–300 cm tall, ready for harvest by late September or early October, with production potential reaching 800 grams per plant. Indoor growers achieve flowering completion in 50–55 days with typical yields around 600 grams per square meter. The flavor profile combines citrus notes of lemon and orange with underlying skunk characteristics.
