KC Brains Bahia Blackhead is a sativa-dominant hybrid created by KC Brains' breeding team through crossing pure Brazilian genetics with two KC 606 male specimens. This strain combines the distinctive characteristics of Brazilian sativas with accelerated maturation typical of KC's earlier cultivars, making it suitable for outdoor growing in cooler climates. While indoor cultivation is possible, this variety truly excels when grown outdoors. Cultivation difficulty is minimal, making this an excellent choice for growers at all experience levels. Outdoor plants develop into robust, disease and pest-resistant specimens reaching approximately 2.5 meters in height. Indoor cultivation produces more compact plants, typically not exceeding 80 centimeters. The flowering window spans 8-10 weeks, during which branches become densely covered with medium-sized flowers. Early flowering produces minimal aroma, but develops notable pungency in later stages, delivering earthy-hash characteristics on the palate. Outdoor harvests typically conclude by late October, with yields reaching around 850 grams per plant. Indoor production remains substantial at approximately 130 grams per plant—impressive for a sativa-leaning variety. Overnight soaking of seeds enhances germination success, with KC Brains guaranteeing 80% viability across all their seed batches.
